With its unrivalled range of movement, the Ascend can transfer a patient from a low - seated position to fully extended with ease. The Ascend is compact and easy to manoeuvre in confined spaces such as bathrooms and has many key design features that make it a truly flexible piece of equipment. Its active lifting motion has been designed to encourage user participation, which ultimatley promotes resident independence and wellbeing. Resident must be capable of weight bearing. Key Features - Adjustable Knee Pad -The kneepad can be adjusted within a 15cm operating range to improve patient comfort during positioning.

Emergency raise and lower function - The emergency lower/raisre buttons are located underneath the emergency stop button on the control box and can be operated by means of inserting a ball point pen tip. This can be used to lower/raise a patient should the hand control fail.
LCD battery level indicator - As well as a visual display, the batteries are protected from deep discharge by a low voltage alarm. This will sound when the batteries need recharging and the hand control is being operated.
