The standing sling is suitable for those patients who have a greater degre of weightbearing ability. It allows excellent access for toileting and is easy to fit, providing quick and easy transfers. The adjustable waist strap and non - slip back pad ensures the sling does not ride up during the transfer. This sling can be unsafe however, when used with the wrong patient, so a careful risk assessment is advised.
